Alejandro Meza, sous chef, is the longest running member of The Long Room family. He started his career with the Stout NYC group back in the early ‘90’s as a line cook in Maggie’s Place. From there he went onto to work at Stout 33rd and then St. Andrews, before it was The Long Room. When The Long Room opened its doors in 2009 ‘Alex’ became sous chef and has been a staple here ever since. His love for Irish American cuisine sets him apart - he makes the best shepherd’s pie around, hands down!
